The Commonwealth Brewery was established in 2015 in Virginia by Natalie and Jeramy Biggie, who aimed to embody their life’s passions, including their connection to family, friends, the ocean and the creation of creatively original craft beers. Prior to their move to Virginia Beach, they had resided in Northern Virginia for nearly a decade, which led them to choose Old Town Fairfax as the ideal location for their second establishment. Commonwealth Fairfax, location in historic Old Town Fairfax, is a welcoming and spacious brewpub offering a diverse selection of imaginative and delicious beers in various styles.

Through significant soul-searching, they came to understand that true fulfilment is derived from creating something one loves while spending quality time with family and friends. In line with their flagship location’s principles, they aspire to achieve just that on Main Street. Visitors are invited to join the good people of Virginia in sharing a pint at Commonwealth.
