Matthew Easley has been appointed as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority (EDA), effective September 3, 2025, while concurrently continuing his role as assistant director of finance and operations for FCED. In his role as Interim CEO, he will oversee the organization and management of Authority operations, execute directives from the Board, and work closely with Brooke Hardin, the interim director of FCED, to ensure operational continuity.
