Lease Incentives for Fairfax Tenants

The Lease Incentives for Fairfax Tenants (LIFFT) program has been created to attract businesses of all sizes to Fairfax City’s priority office buildings and support existing business expansions. Potential lessees must enter into a minimum three-year commercial office lease, be a business that has not held a commercial lease in Fairfax City in the past year, or be an existing City business expanding their business footprint. This grant may not be used to reduce rental rates in lease negotiations but may be used by the incoming tenant for programs, personnel costs, or any operational needs. Applications for the LIFFT program will be accepted on a rolling basis.

All funds are on a first-come, first-served basis. Funds are limited and committed upon receipt of a signed lease and application completion. Funds are dispersed upon the receipt of an updated business license. No funds are reserved until lease agreement documentation is provided.
