How does it work?

Patrons check-in at Old Town Plaza (3950 University Drive), on Saturday, October 22, 2022 starting at 2:00 p.m. to receive a quick orientation on the Old Town Fairfax City Crawl, pick up their passport, and scan-in to view the event website that highlights all destinations and details. Additionally, anyone who would like to join the Fall Crawl may register at the link below and pick up a passport from a participating restaurant. You may start your Fall Crawl from anywhere on the map!

Patrons then visit participating restaurants of their choice between the hours of 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to purchase exclusive passport items. Once a purchase is made, a staff member stamps your passport.

When a patron has collected four or more passport stamps from participating restaurants, they return to the check-in location for a free branded Old Town Fairfax City Fall Crawl commemorative giveaway, while supplies last. They can also enter to win one $50 Fairfax City Flex Card (an eGift Card redeemable at participating city businesses) by completing a survey about their Crawl experience (the first 50 to respond to the survey will receive a $10 Flex Card).

To enter to win one of the costume contest prizes, take a picture (or have one of our staff members at the check-in location take it for you) and post it to social media. Make sure to tag @fairfaxcityeda and at least one of the participating restaurants (social media handles are included on the event menu). If you do not have social media, you may email your photo entry to

The event is FREE to anyone 21+ and is a rain or shine event.
